Presentation: “From my perspective…….”
Martin will summarise what he feels at the most important outcomes of the presentations and discussions to provide delegates with an agenda for actions when they return to their desktops. He will also comment on topics that he noticed were not covered in the presentations but which he feels are important for intranet managers to take note of.
Workshop: Intranet search clinic
This will be a workshop with a difference. At the end of the conference Martin will ask everyone coming to the search clinic to give him a list of their three top search problems or objectives. Overnight Martin will create a workshop that should provide solutions to these problems and objectives based on his own extensive experience and the experience of other participants in the workshop. It would be very helpful if participants could come prepared to show some screen shots of their search application. The plan is that participants will leave the conference not only with solutions to their most immediate concerns but also how to ensure that the search feature on their intranet continues to improve based on feedback from users.
